Mine came with factory spotters too.. But 4" are too big.. I replaced them with 3" spotters & now can see the bottoms of my back tires when backing in a tight spot..

The smaller spot pushes the convex out further allowing seeing the back tires as well as across 3 lanes or so of Hi-Way..
