Smelly HHR
Hello everyone, I just purchased my first HHR Sports Wagon in white. The first time I have seen it on Utube it was a white one. I seen all the features in and out and fell passionately in love with it. It brought back all my memories of the good old days. It reminded me of the milk man's wagon who use to deliver out glass bottles of milk and other dairy products on the door. I always wanted and antique car but never thought that it would be a practical thing to own due to sourcing parts for it when need be. This is a trade of for me and the fact that I can even customize it to make it more antique looking is great. I find that the head lamps do not give off appropriate light in dense dark highways that have no street lamps. I plan to change those soon. I am sensitive to the odor of the interior body when It is warmed up inside and forced to roll down the windows a bit otherwise I feel sick and headachy. Any suggestions to remedy this problem would be appreciated. I am sensitive to perfumes and most strong odors so masking it with another scent will not help

No I do not think that is the problem but will look into it for the next oil change. It is more like that new auto smell that plastic gives off. I have an all plastic interior excluding the cloth seats. I wonder if that is the way the HHR's are all made. The dealership bought a lease return from the auction and had it out on his lot for a long time before I bought it from him. The mileage is very low on it so I know it was not used very much.

What other people drive
As you look at the cars in traffic they look so common in design no originality. You seen one you seen them all but not if you own an HHR. You are riding in unique style and stand out in a busy traffic. An in new fashion ride taken from an old concept of the past. I have the LS in white and I enjoy every minute of my commute. Just like sitting inside of an airliner jet plane minus the rumble of engine noise. Everyone on the road drives a vehical of some sort but I drive The HHR from The Happy DAys long gone. When I can afford to do so I want to bring out more its antique look.
