It would be nice for a small shop as a delivery vehicle. But with only two seats, not practical for normal families. I can see custom possibilities....

So it's ok with me.

Blind spots are bad enough in the window version, so I could see lane-changing nightmares occuring with the panel. However, love it anyway Many custom possibilities

I think they're really cool, so I voted for "Love It."

Blind spots can be treated... Just use those small mirrors from Pep boys, a small 2" on the driver's side and a 3" one on the passenger's side (the bigger one works best on the passenger side b/c it's further away). That's what I use on my '98 Camaro, a vehicle notorious for blind spots, works really well. I never have to look over my shoulder to see if there is a car in my blind spot, cuz I don't have blind spots! They take a little "getting-used-to" but after a while they are second-nature.

Oh yeah, the mirrors are placed on the outside edges of the outside rearview mirrors...

The two in the lower right is what I use...
I would think these would work well on "standard" HHR's as well, for those who complain about not being able to see thru the headrests.

Blind spots

I have one. If you adjust the mirrors and use them correctly the blind spot is virtually non-existent. Proper ajdustment requires moving mirrors almost completely outboard.
