New HHR SS concept to be unveiled at LA car show?

I saw this to late...
GM's corporate e-letter stated they were going to make some major statements in regard to some changes in drivetrain policy.....moving more to "recognized" hy-brids. Most of the detailed information will be released, appropriately, at the Detroit Auto Show, next month.

And, my guess is....
The pictures already posted are what the "SS" will look like, minus the checkerboard tape and MINOR cosmetic improvements. Unless of course, GM has not resolved the engine cooling issue with the "turbo". Then you may see a completely new front facia.
Based on my experiences with the 'experimental " vehicles, when they use the tape, it's the final application...that could always change , however.

I will however post some HHR related pictures of the show later, once I get them resized and uploaded.
As a side note, the show does not open to the public till Friday. Today and tomorrow are Media days. So LA people, save your $12 for parking for when the show opens.
