That is why you don't see them push them too much and also why they are usally the last to get good incentives many times.

IF it is selling well and your short money you put the other cars that are just sitting on the lot.

I am see some push in advertising now since nothing is selling.

The HHR is an example of where Chevy is going and we should expext to see more value priced cars from them like this. The HHR is a steal of a value in the market and is a lot of car for the money even the SS.

Yup.... the car is so many things

-Economical - I commute 800 km, and rack up on average of 900-1000km/week, and average about 9.2L/100km doing it.
-Practical - I use it from lugging stuff to the dump, carrying my hockey gear, right through to driving clients around
-Fun - I have the 2.4 LT2 with 17's ......fun little buggy to drive, I think the way GM did the exhaust, it sounds cool as well....and this coming form a diehard V8 fan.
-attractive (at least I think so :) )
-Tons of room for a small family - I have two kids, and there is more then enough room on long trips. As mentioned above, I entertain clients frequently, and loading 3 grown adults in the back is no biggy either
-Quiet and has a nice ride, especially considering this is a compact car
-Tons of features and options

About the only thing I can't do is go 4-wheeling in the mud....although admittedly, I haven't tried ...LOL

you know something.....reading all of the above, I think I'm going to go out an hug my HHR..

If GM updates the HHR I hope it gets updated to look like a slightly newer Suburban-A '57-'59 version perhaps?
In spite of some dumb content choices(An auto dimming mirror on a car with deep tint glass?Come on !) I know I made the right choice when I got my HHR.I smile nearly every time I get in it.

You can turn that mirror off. Trouble is it kills the compass too.

Heaven forbid someone use the sun or moon for directions.

if you go that way, you should go completely hardcore. Turn your clock off, or put some tape over it and just mount a sun dial to the dash...ha, sorry, weird sense of humor.

i like my auto dim mirror though, i can see it work when i'm on the higway and i get some trucks behind me.

i would have personally put the temperature up with the compass. My jimmy was like that. Since i keep my DIC on the instamatic mileage always, i don't want to click through to the temp. AND HEATED SIDE MIRRORS!

My point is that the auto dimming mirror is useless with the dark glass. The light coming throught the window is already dimmed by the tinting so the dimming feature isn't needed.Just a case of overcomplicationitis.

I agree.

Mine has a standard mirror and I have never had a problem with bright lights. My wife's has the auto-dimming one, and I think that most of the time it is so dark that all you see are the lights themselves and little of what they are attatched to. I like to know WHAT is behind me, not just that SOMETHING is there.
