New and lovin' it!

I got the most wonderful anniversary present from my husband yesterday. He surprised me with a 2006 HHR and I am in love! (with hubby, too)

She's a white 1LT with the bright chrome package and grey cloth interior and I believe we own the first one in our relatively small town. Boy were heads turning last night as we were taking her out for a spin!

I was up way too late last night looking at all of the modifications that you all have done and I've worked up a nice sized list of things I think would see happen to my new baby.

So howdy to you all! I'm so happy to have found you!

congrats...My first choice was black, but white would've been my second choice. Plus there were no white HHR's when I was buying. The white HHR is really starting to grow on me...I like that it is a rare breed.

I'll post pics of her this weekend. She went to work with hubby this morning so he could show her off.

It's funny, of all the vehicles I've owned, this is the first that felt like a girl to me.

If I were choosing a car I would never have dreamed of choosing white. But in all honesty, I think the white looks way slick and I wouldn't want anything different. And finding out they're "rare" makes it even cooler! LOL

Have any of you put yours in a car show? We have a local coming up and I'm thinking about entering since it's a fairly uncommon vehicle in our area. Plus I could park next to my dad and his show car (71 Nova) - something my brother has gotten to do with his cars but I've never had the pleasure of doing.

Welcome! You actually think the HHR is feminine? There's a first!

Feminine like wonder woman, baby - pretty to look at but still a complete badass.
