Welcome to the HHR Familia!
I highly recommend the splash guards--they help keep Blackie clean. I didn't want the running boards, but since they (and the guards) were already on, what the heck!
Although, like someone else said, living in SoCal, splash guards are more for looks half the time!

The splash guards have the HHR logo on them, too, though you have to be on your hands and knees, with lots of direct lighting, and squinting your eyes to tell! The parts guy said the front ones would have the Chevy bowtie insignia on them, but they didn't...they're just plain. I like the guards very much, though, as they are made just for the body of the car, rather than being generic hang-down flaps with Yosemite Sam or a woman's silhouette on them!

Welcome to the site! and congrats on your ride. I have had the running boards put and the rear bumper protecter after I bought mine. In the near future I plan on the splash gaurds. I had mine install by the dealership in town, I figure this way there is no quibling over the warranty.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new purchase. My black 2LT came with running boards and splash guards. I wouldn't have it any other way. I took a Testor's paint pen, in silver, used to paint model kits, and painted the HHR letters on the rear splash guards. They stand out real good now.
