Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to be a part of this cool club! I just took delivery of a black LS 5-speed last week. Took advantage of the 0% deal. I have big plans for this little truckster! I am building it into a 2-door panel complete with barn doors in the rear, front & rear restyle, and hopefully a red interior (we'll see how it goes!). I'll post pics as work progresses.

Sounds like you've got some pretty big plans for your HHR. We love pics, so please be sure to share them along the way. Otherwise, the natives will get restless and they can be a rowdy bunch on occasion.

Thanks for the welcome! I checked out your pics. Cool 71! I also like the wood treatment on your HHR! I have a 68 Impala convertible. 396, 4-speed, posi. My dad bought it new! Still sports its original paint & top. About my HHR, I plan on welding everything closed on the sides. The barn doors won't be easy, but i think well worth the effort. I could take the easy way and split the hatch and keep the hinges at the top, but I will fabricate internal side hinges so they swing to the sides the way they should.
