She says "hi Sam", and she insists that she's not taking it easy on me, just added mud flaps to her list of goodies for the Spousemobile. It seems that she doesn't want running boards on hers, my reaction was "WHAT?"....I'm wondering if my wife has been replaced with some incredibly sophisticated replica, no running boards, who has ever heard of such insanity?

She doesn't like the boards because she keeps scuffing her shoes on mine, and then she sees the "raised eyebrows look" meaning that as soon as we're home, I'll be checking the boards for scuffs and polishing them out if needed. So she wants "flaps of the mud type" on the Spousemobile, and I don't have any problems with that. Considering the mileage, it doesn't really have any "gravel cancer" on the fenders, those plastic door guards on the '06's worked I guess.

The HHR sans running boards does have a certain "look" also.... Kind of a stripped hot rod look.... Boards were one of the first things to go when they started removing weight back in the day....... Maybe you could sell her on some lakes pipes.

New set of tires for the Spousemobile this morning, she picked out a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS's, and they look spiffy on the Euromax wheels. Michelle is out roaming around with the little critter as we speak, she did call me to tell me she'd been back to the tire shop for the 25 mile retorque on the wheels.
She just drove around in a big circle of Kannapolis to rack up the miles, just like I thought she would, its scary how well I know her mind at times.
Almost forgot, $122 each at Discount Tire with a $50 rebate, got 'em to do the mount and balance for free.

Congrats! Hmm, you know if you took all of the HHr's out for a drive the local fuzz might ticket you for being part of a 'parade' right?
