Question New side view mirror replacement help

I have a new side view mirror coming in the mail soon because one of mine broke and I was wondering if anybody knew how to replace them and what tools I am going to need...Thanks a lot in advance

im taking a shot in the dark here but i would bet you take off the door panel. then some type of screws(s) will be holding it in place.

yeah, you gotsta remove the door panel, then theres 3 nuts to remove from the backside of the mirror setup ( you'll see em) . pretty simple, just disconnect the harness for the power mirror, and its out. good luck, and check for a how to on the door panel removal.

Ok this is a old theard but my mirror just got broken and I would just like to replace just the mirror glass part has anybody done it ? It looks like I need a heat gun to get it off then just replace the mirror part which is a lot cheaper .. Any thoughts on this?

I did. You can get a replacement on eBay for around $20 IIRC. It is cut to the correct shape, just glue it onto the broken piece.
