New York CARB compliant catalytic converter

My 1 year old catalytic converter needs to be replaced. What do you recommend?

Thanks

Get a New York certified cat.
I don't know what you are asking or why it needs a new one. Are you planning to do it yourself? If it is 1 year old it is probably covered by some warranty.
When it was replaced was the cause of failure fixed? They don't just go bad.

No warranty on it ? Maybe it’s just over the year. OEM catalytic converters had 8 year warranty.

This one is very much like OEM

It is covered under warranty but not looking to buy the same one. Don't really want to go through this again so just looking to see what other people recommend. I know that it requires CARB certified. I don't know who is replacing it yet. I'll cross that bridge when I get a new cat.

Thanks,
Jessica

The BIG question,
What caused the failure?
Cats don't usually die on their own.
And there next to impossible to shoot. I've tried.

I'm not looking for diagnostics. Already been done.

Just want recommendations for a CARB compliant catalytic converter.

Thanks,
Jessica

Diagnosis is one thing.
Was the issue that caused the failure fixed?
Personally, I would like to know what caused the failure and what to look for in mine.
Thanks

OldBlue - that link says its restricted in New York State. I wish it was that cheap though. I know I'm looking at at least $700.

Thank you though!!

When I pull up some products it reads I’m in Canada, maybe that’s the problem, I’ll keep looking.

How about this

seeing as our emissions laws are tighter then California
