Newbie: 2 Mods, More to Come

Hey folks. I joined the site about 2 weeks ago. Picked up my '07 HHR 2LT or LT2 (whatever it is) Saturday the 14th. Silver exterior and grey interior with the 2.4. Its the newest car I have ever owned and I love it. Got the honeycomb rubber "HHR" floor mats and the "HHR" brakelight cover. Lookin to get the rear bumper cover from GM, the fog light linnings, vent shades, and stubby antenna around the first of the year.

I have to thank all of you for your support and knowledge of the HHRs. I have been reading posts constantly since I joined and have learned a ton.

I won't post any pictures cause the mods I have are pretty generic. But once I do something original, I will throw some up.

Thanks again for all your help. You all have csome sick lookin rides!

Alright I have one question for you all. Ya know how the Interior ceiling spotlight that shines on the dash and the reading lights on the rear view mirror are almost a LED white light but the rear dome reading lights are that off-white/yellow color? Why did GM do that? And has anyone replaced those rear ones with bulbs that match in color to the front ones? Difficult install? What size bulbs are they?

Here is a thread that can help answer part of your question: Led Map Lights in Mirror

Thanks for that thread!

Well, I am not worried about the lights in the mirror, I like those LEDs. I want those same things in the back seat where the reading lights are. Cause right now I have 2 different color lights in my interior and I think it looks a little funky. Anyone replaced those rear bulbs with LEDs?
