The title got me my redneck friend Don't know how to top that for attention material!
I'm interested in how it works for you. I have always had the magnetic plug in the oil pan as a means of aid in my Corvairs.
For the HHR the dealer has the Free" oil Changes for life " thing going, so I'nm lazy and they want to try to sell me more service or a new car, I'm sure!
Things can be financially safer in your driveway.

I know what you mean with "back gives me fits." Had the same problem last summer until I had back surgery in Sept. Now the back agrees to rollin around under cars etc, but don't push it, and I don't.
That pump should do the trick. People with inboard boats use those and they do work. That one you got look's hi tec. Good luck with it.

Its ok for the Oil but the Trans is a seal unit there is no Dip stick for the Trans I was told that you have to go to the Dealership for the Trans fuild to be changed, My HHr was in the Body shop Once and they had to take it to the Dealership for the Trans Fuild.
