Nice HHR PANEL w/ mods

Haven't posted in a while, but I ran across an ad for an HHR panel that someone bought. I definitely like the wheels. The doors are crazy. The door handle under the mirror must have been quite a task...

Yea they seem pointless... I wonder if you can even see them without the stock ones getting in the way.

They are not double mirrors, they are spotlights. And they should have been mounted higher.

The suicide doors just don't look right. I could like without the portholes and the corner bumper strips.

Those are not mirrors

The objects in front of the mirrors are old school spot lights.

You don't suppose that's as far as the front doors open now...

someone put some effort into that one. I personally dig the suicide doors. Portholes are fine, but the bumper strips gotsta go! Spotlights are a nice touch, but I'da mounted them in a different spot. Cool all in all. Wonder how much it went for...

Pretty nice, actually, although I am getting very, very tired of seeing "Buick portholes" on every frakking car out there. These aren't that bad since they are actual factory parts (Buick Lucerne) and not some J.C. Whitney crap.

They belong on Buicks, it's a Buick thing and they shouldn't go on just any car. I saw a late-80's Buick Century with them yesterday that had them on the fender in front of the front wheels. Right car, wrong spot. Or you see them on Chrysler 300C's...or they put those chrome "Pep Boys" vents on bumpers and door panels of Civic's and Cobalts.....like, uh, just what are you venting? What ever happened to tasteful mods? "Pimp my Ride" ruined everything.

Oh, and clear taillights? No longer cool. Once Toyota made them stock on the Lexus RX300 and Scion TC they were no longer cool and should be avoided. JMO.
