No 2009 HHR production numbers yet.

I have spoke to my GM contact today. He has in my request but it may be a while longer.

GM is still sorting out who has what responsibility at GM. The guy who got us the 2008 numbers retired.

The request is in and we should get something once we find the guy who can supply us with the info.

I will post them once I hear back.

On a side note my contact had a ZR-1 today and what a sound!!! I just had to tell someone it was that moving. LOL!!!!.

No there was an air show near by and the jets were not as impressive.

It sounded more like a pro stock for the street.

Well I got the penetrations totals from GM for the 09 HHR today.

It will take me some time to get them posted correctly but I will start a new thread to do do.

Just to make the SS panel guys happy there were 216 made. You may never get rich but you are for sure rare.

Regular 2009 HHR SS production was 2,346 not counting the 216 panels.

HHR production for 09 was 80,793 which is very good and only 20,000 the total for 2008. The slow market should acount for the loss in sales.

As sales go the HHR has been a big winner in a sea of losers at GM. Too bad they will not carry on the special styling in a updated form.

I feel amost honored to have seen one up close during our Bodega Bay GTG. Great looking ride!

If I only knew back in 1976 that my 71 Firebird Formula 455HO was one of only 155 made I might have kept it. Then again it did try to kill me a couple of times and crippled the guy I sold it to............ (I should mention that this guy drove it off the road into a trench with railroad tracks, same place he wrecked his Olds 442 a few years earlier)

I will post more after I redo the GM sheet. If I post it as it is you would not be able to read it here.

Special thanks to a couple very great guys at GM for digging this info up.

I have some work tonight so it may be a day or two till I get the rest posted. The web may want to get a sticky and post the 08 and 09 numbers where they will be easy to find in the future. THese numbers years from now may not be as easy to get.

I have the percentages of what color were sold so we will be able to do the math and see how many of each color to.

Black and red were again the big colors for the SS.

I have not done the math yet so I do not have the break out of those numbers yet.
