nothing like cramming 10 LBS of stuff in a 5LBS sac
yesterday we had some very hi winds in in Stockton so of course part of my fence blew down(about 50 feet) so I decided to get some lumber from work so I loaded up 6-4x4 and 9-2x4 they were all 104 1/4" long (just under 9 feet its the standard stud height for 9' walls) so I droped the pasanger seat flat(once you flip it foward lift on the recliner leaver and it goes completly flat) and droped the back seats down. My fellow employes watched in amazment as I stuffed board after board into the ever stritching HHR I had to fart around with the lumber a bit to get the rear hatch to shut right.but it worked like a charm. My neighbors laughed at me when I got home and unloaded it and asked me If I missed the truck I traded in I laughed and said ya but I dont miss the gas bill. He agreed and said he really likes the looks of the HHR amount of cargo area that can be created

More on 10 pounds in a 5 pound bag....
Pulled up to the furniture store and to the warehouse dude's amazement, loaded a brand new, full sized, rocking recliner into the back of the HHR. Had plenty of room to spare. Love this car...

my most recent trip to ikea, most of it was for work (i was being the nice guy and picking it all up) and a few things for me.
We also had to move the seats up quite a bit. Enough where I wouldn't be able to drive the car, so my wife drove while I crammed into the passenger seat.
- 2 HUGE glass desk tops (these were the trouble makers)
- 2 desk frames
- 8 desk legs
- 2 book shelves
- 4 door inserts for bookshelves
- 3 file cabinets
- shoe cabinet for home
- lamp
- various small things, hangers, metal basket, etc.
