Well, I don't know but sometimes when it's really sunny it smells like burning latex/rubber. Not sure though.... Never used one in the car. Oddly enough though my Lumina has the same smell when it's bright too... And it's only sometimes. So, there may be something gross in my car somewhere...or maybe in my coat, or who knows!!!

Only had to do this once, thank god. It was creepy, especially when they shifted on turns.

Nothing odd, but rather the AMOUNT of typical items. 7 bags (+ misc smaller items) and 4 adults. The functionality of these cars are unbelievable! 1200 mile trip (ea way; 2400 mi total) and the HHR didn't miss a beat. And still got around 28 avg mpg (stage 1 installed) with all that load.

My girlfriend has a 99 Grand Caravan that is usually stuffed to the gills. I have hauled a bunch of stuff in mine - but nothing compared to her....
