Sorry to hear the bad new's. I would wait for 2007 unless you need the car now. It was just 1 bad apple, really doubt it would happen again. Either way, best of luck!

Sorry you got shafted, but GM owned the problem and remember that EVERY man-made item will have a certain percentage of lemons -- BMW, GE, Sony, Ford -- every company, every industry. Since your problem does not seem to be a prevalent issue, it is likely one of those small percentages of lemons. You should start again at square one and compare/contrast...but as to an HHR, I wouldn't be overly worried in comparisson to another vehicle. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Glad to hear you're going to get another one. Hopefully the wait won't be too long and you'll be the 1st one here to have the new model year. Good Luck.

Sorry you had problems, at least GM did the right thing. Dont let it sour you on the HHR. You just had bad luck. Many ofus have had no problems or very minor ones. wait for the 07 and enjoy, I still love my HHR. I plan on having it for many years.

Sorry to hear about your water Issue.
I traded my 04' S-10 crew cab PU in on the 06 HHR. It was the biggest POS I have EVER owned from GM. It had only 13K on it after 2 years and spent at least 3 months of those 24 months I owned her in the shop. Boy that was a case of love/hate.
Good Luck.
