Oil change

I plan to do my next oil change and was wondering if the drain plug is located in a position that will allow the pan to drain with the front of the car on ramps, or does the car need to be level. Thanks

The drain plug is in the rearward position of the oil pan. You will have no problems with the vehicle on ramps.

I haven't crawled under my HHR yet.

Is there enough clearance between the pan and other components to install something like a Fumoto drain plug valve?
