i like

the easier softer way. i have done both. i just did the gas pedal thing , -easy , and easy to remember , i hope. just turn key , but not crank , set dic on oil life , press gas 3 times. more info- i did not know that wix was making filters for napa. this is what napa sales person told me. i think this is what i will be using on all engines , if available , from now on , napa gold / wix. oh , and gm did not give me o ring for the oil filter. napa did. EDIT - ok , now i notice that wix is made in south korea . i know many people that say wix is the best , including some mechanics , but i have also seen mechanics argue over which tools are the best snap on or whoever . 1 time i thought they may go to blows . who cares . they are both good. but the gm fiter is made in usa. so now , may go back with the gm , unless i see some kind of test that is worthy of being called a test.
