I would check first on the wiring for the sub. There is more than one radio for the HHR. I believe the only differance in the top two is the sub. I know on my wifes Mazda, all the wiring the there. I added the sub to her's later. ANd it was plug and play. Since you have an LT, I would definatly look to see.

Those wheels only require regluar washing and waxing.

Welcome.

Welcome aboard here, lots of good info!!!

Did your HHR, come from the Toyota Dealership?? a trade-in??

Also, think about adding running-boards, can save on wear and tear on the rear fenders, been much discussions on this issue.

Let us know your thoughts, HHR vs the cruiser???

Have fun and enjoy the vehicle!

Later,
Mark

PS: (contributors) Thanks for all the advice on the mirror, been here from almost the beginning, and had not caught on to this trick and advice!!!

yea it was a toyota dealer, funny part was we stole it for more then 800 less then their book price... but they had people from another dealer show up to do a transfer while we were dealing, so they sold it to make money instead of tranfering...right place and time i guess

my wife is worried about running boards with 2 boys one of which is not careful about how he treats things, dont wanna spend money and break it...

my thoughts on the hhr vs the cruiser... hhr gets better mileage, handles about the same, has a much tighter turn radius, rides better, has more cargo room, the controls and seating is set up with alot more thought... i HATED the vents in the pt, and while the specs say the HHR has the same or a little less shoulder room in it, i feel like it has more, i had to lean back in the pt to keep my head out of the sunroof which put the door pillar in my shoulder... the problem is alot less in the hhr... the cup holders are about as bad in both, our pt being an older one had only 2 switches in the front for the front windows, you had to reach in back for the back ones... so after only a week i have to say this is by far the best out of the 2 cars

Ahhhhhh, the light from above, above the radio that is. Here is how I modded my light using a short length of shrink tube trimmed to block the light from my direct view..

Some have covered it with a decal or sticker.

Welcome to another SOM to the forum..

Bob is the oil guy forums are where a lot of oilheads hang out. They do VOA (Virgin Oil Analysis) and UOA (Used Oil Analysis). Quite a few of them seemed impressed by Mobil Clean 7500 which is a synthetic blend. They also liked Mobil Clean 5000 for a good extended drain interval conventional oil.
