Talking Okay....I give up.....where the heck is....

Can anyone tell me where the heck the dinking battery is in my HHR? I spent 20 minutes or so today looking for the blasted thing, and just couldn't find it.....I replaced my air filter and while I had the air box out I searched and searched and just didn't see the battery anywhere and I know it has to have one.....also if I should need a jump how do I go about that?

Thanx so much and I know that I am going to feel really stupid once someone tells me.....but I need to know where it is and how to jump it.....

Anita

When ever in doubt check the operator manual in the glove box.

Owners manual; It's not for taking up space in the glove box anymore. It's not the best read but it is so full of info.

To jump start use the jump starting + terminal under the hood and ground to the engine block.

(Also in the manual.) sorry... had to. ;O)

I didn't believe when I first read it on this website. I had to go out to the HHR and check it out!

Another thing different about the battery is the vent tube. Critical to keeping you from an untimely death. Always reconnect!

So has anyone changed out their battery to a Optima battery yet?

Read the previous post. Our battery is INSIDE the vehicle, therefore it MUST be vented. About the only vented battery I have found (so far) is from Batteries Plus. Die Hard does NOT make one, nor does Interstate, as far as I know.
