So who has the first or oldest HHR?

 

Bought 8/13/05 Dealer said was on the lot a week before I bought it

 

September 17, 2005.

We went in and bought it the day before it was to appear in the Modesto Bee as 'The Manager's Special' for that week.

 

I ordered mines in september 2005 and got it on Nov.21,2005. I guess mines took awhile to get here since I live right in the middle of the pacific ocean. You guess right HAWAII. 2006HHR DAYTONA BLUE METALLIC 2LT. This is my weekend baby and it's almost a year and has only 4200 miles on it. Also never did touch the rain that's how much I love this beauty of a car. Besides that I also own a 2003 chevy Tahoe and a 2006 chevy Colorado extreme.

 

so when was the first one made?
Chevy historians, when did they start rolling out?

 

Also, when did the '06's stop?

 

I ordered mine on the first week of September 2005 and received it on November the 3rd. Exact date, I will have to look up. One year old next week with 23,000 miles and not a problem yet.

 

I started my research on the HHR early December 2005, picked it up on December 31, 2005 (I've never looked to see when it was built yet)

The first HHR has a build date of 4/22/05. It is designated as a pilot vehicle, so I don't know if it ever was made available to the public. Several of the first HHR's went to GM engineering for testing.
