after 1 year of ownership, and 30k miles of use, I have a short list of "dont likes"

1)seat position/distance to steering wheel. I am 6', and my legs are all bent up just so I can reach the steering wheel.

2)3-spoke steering wheel. Makes driving a FWD car not as comfy since there is a spoke at 6:00 o'clock on the wheel...when cruising, I cant just rest my hand on the wheel at the dead-center bottom...coupled with flaw #1, it makes my long commutes not very relaxing.-petty, but a negative to me, none the less

3)seats dont have enough cush...long drives at awkward positions cause numb-cheeks.

4)cup holders-almost worthless.

5)no ash tray-yea, I smoke...my problem, I know...but buying a HHR without an ashtray wont make me quit.

6)window switch location-I'm used to them, but not happy about their spot

That's it! might seem like a lot to some...but compared to my list of what i do like about it...well, it's self-explanatory...I HAVE A HHR! what's that tell ya?

seriously though...might be getting rid of it soon. It has its good things...but it lacks more of what I need since I drive so darn much.

great car
excellent value
very economic
cool style
2.4L has enough power to merge with traffic
handles fine for it's shape/size/weight
plenty of storage/room

These are the EGR vent visors.

Total time for install, 10 minutes tops, they slide in place real easy.

Stock wheels are tooooooooooo soft (black chrome). I shouldn't be able to bend 3 inches of damaged lip somewhat back into place with a rubber mallet. For that matter an old school lane divider (city titty) for intersections should take out $700 worth of wheels.

In my opinion, they might as well have put 'em there. Or under the hood!

I wish my legs were short enough to do that. They're just a bit too far to hit without leaning forward!

If I tried to use my feet to hit the window switches, my knees would block what little view the windshield has.

seriously though...I am used to them.
doesnt mean I like them.

could be worse...they could all have manual window cranks...wonder where Chevy would have put them, on the pillar?

I also have the black chrome wheels and do seem a bit "delicate".
My other issues are a repeat of most of these threads -
Window Switch location
Tall Lock Knobs
That when I stop to let a passenger out, they damn near rip the handle off before I get the door unlocked.
Console design - cupholders in piss poor spot, inadequate storage.
Too small glove box.
No dead pedal.
cargo area needs a light, and farther forward needs a light.

Just thought of something else... the little pegs on the front of the rear seats, the plastic covers right before the carpet. Tots in car seats seem to kick them perfectly without even trying - and its sharp under there!
