Guess what, I just found out the other day that Sandybeach knows my dad and works close to where he does on the base. Small world huh.
As for the windown switches I actually thought it was a neat idea to put them down on the floor. I think it makes the door look cleaner.

For me it would be the boring dash lights. I've owned Pontiacs for several years and I love the red dash lights. The aqua lights are just plain dull, although the white needles add a bit of spice to it. I would love to see electric blue light to match my high intensity blue LED in the headliner.

Things I hate about my HHR
I'm surprised no one has said this but, I hate how cramped you feel in the HHR. The door panel kind of bulges in your hip. I'm only 5'10" and 215 pounds. The headrests should flip like they do on the Tahoe when you fold the seats flat. Other than that, I really like my HHR. It's perfect for my side job which is deejaying weddings and parties. Low load in height, easy plastic material, (no carpet) and it looks cool!!!

I am currrently in New Jersey, with my rental PT Cruiser, which I rented because I have been putting a lot of miles on my baby, and Enterprise gave me a PT Cruiser so I thought, what the heck, I'll see for once & for all which is a better car...HHR IS #1!!! Don't get me wrong, the PT Cruiser is a great car, IF THE HHR WASN'T CREATED BY CHEVROLET! the ONLY thing that the PT Cruiser has going is that the cupholders and center console are very well designed, but aside from that, I would buy an HHR ANY DAY over a PT!

I hate the freakin lock post that sticks into your arm when the window is down...I suppose it is time for me to do this mod...
I also do not like that I have to pull the arm rest up everytime I get in to snap the seatbelt. Then, put the arm rest down when driving. Then pulling the arm rest up to unbuckle..then what....
Still love the HHR tho..

Anybody else hit the windows with their feet? I love where the switches are. You keep both hands on the wheel and the window rolls down. Toolbooth operators, people at the drive-thru, the ocassional cop all look astounded and think the window rolls by itself. Would be even better if they were on the floor instead of the console.
