Opinions of future HHR's.

Haven't posted in a while & unfortunantly I still don't have an HHR yet but I'm still working on getting one. Just wondering what some of your opinions of the HHR might be in 08. Yes I know it's not 07 yet but the popularity of the thing still seems to be growing pretty quick pace. I know we live in a time when everyone seems to want a turbo charged car but, I wonder if the HHR will maybe have a small V6 w/ a paddle shift tranny or a slap stick. Everyone seems to think if the HHR goes turbo it'll drive up the cost & the insurance. (I'm sure it will) Anyway, fire away back @ me w/ some thoughts. Thanks!

About all I have heard about the upcoming HHR is that it will proably have the t/c engine from the Pontiac Solstice, with about 260 HP or so. That way it should compete well with the PT Turbo. It will hopefully be an 08 model available next fall. I hope they make it in yellow!

edit: yes I'm talking about the new HHR >>SS<< which Chevy has already announced it will build.

Oh yeah, why wouldn't an HHR SS drive up insurance?
The replacement price will be more than an LT or LS model fer sure.
And you know how they like to classify vehicles as "performance" models.
So that'll drive it up a bit more...

Besides more power. I think more of a Retro looking interior. Different bumpers would be cool.

I think it would be so cool to give the new HHR SS some real cojones and drop in a LS2. But then it would have to be rear wheel drive so that's out.

Ya know......they could do a Halloween Edition. Forget the black chrome, have glow-in-the-dark chrome.
