Optional GM 10 spoke Chrome Rims, Anyone??

Just wondering if anyone has bought the GM Accessory rim that is available as an option on the HHR. It basically looks like the old Z24 chrome 17" rim. Its pictured in the sales brochure, just wondering how it actually looks on the car. anyone have any pics or purchased these for their HHR.

Check this thread out and ask yourself if you really want to spend $2000 for a set of factory rims.

I get a decent discount on parts, so they wouldn't be 2k, and I figure I can off the brand new polished 17's that are comming on the car. looking at that pic thou, I am not sure I like them on the car. hmmm. anymore pics, maybe a full side shot on a Sunburst Orange.

Like CH mentioned, there are a LOT of nice rims out there for less. Even 10-spoke styles - for much less than GM is asking.
Try HERE for some more ideas.

Hope it helps,

i was at my dealership a week ago and they have a set of the 10 spokes on the parts floor for sale, i was in there looking to see if they had any 16inch takes off for sale. they wanted $1,995.00 plus installation or $1,595.00 with your rims in return for the 10 spokes. i made a comment "damn thats alot for factory rims" the parts guys said ya i agree thats why they have been here since november!!!
there not bad looking wheels, but my opinion is they look a little to tuner carish for an hhr

All pricing aside, they are nice looking rims but I don't personally think they fit the style of the HHR.

Something about the word "spokes" that kind of makes my skin crawl. It makes me think of the ol' spoke rims that would be on the ol Cadillac Brohm (sp?) The original Pimpmobile. I agree though. You have to be careful with spoke rims. They don't fit every vehicle, and at least to me, the HHR is not one of those vehicles.
