Order Time

How long is the order time for the HHR? If you order special wheels at a price, shouldn't they reimburse you for the stock wheels? I know,I'm full of questions and should have used the search feature. Been told that before.

Yes only if it's in Black & White, always get it down on paper.

You don't get reimbursed for the stock wheels because the upgraded wheels only cost you $395. If you ordered the 17" polished rims after the fact, they cost $585 each (know this after I wrecked mine). So, not taking the upgraded tires into account you saved $1945, then take away for the steel rims you are 'giving back' to GM, you still are at least $1500 in the good.

Okay, I didn't figure I'd come out money ahead on the deal. I'm probally gonna order mine in 2 weeks.Gonna get a 2LT Sandstone, with 10 spoke wheels.Sunroof, airbags etc. Anybody know what percentage of HHR's are Sandstone? Seems kinda rare to me! Oh yeah, thanks for your reply.

Sandstone was left off of the what color HHR do you drive poll so it's kind of hard to tell what percentage of us have them on the site. I can tell you sandstone is not rare being a normal production color. I see at least a few sandstones a week driving around in my area. Sometimes I'll see a couple in the same day. There is no such thing as a rare color combo now days, that went out in the 60's. If the auto manufacturer only offers like eight or nine exterior colors and like two or three interior colors there is bound to be a lot of duplication and a lack of rare color combos. Even the special color combo spring edition HHR had a couple thousand made. The only way you are going to get a rare color HHR is to get a custom paint job.
