ordering a 2010....sunroof or not?

i was just reading some threads on here, and while most like their sunroofs, i read alot of leaking issues and drain tubes clogging up. are these only on earlier HHR's, or is its a somewhat common issue on any of them? i like sunroofs, but ive had cars without them, so i can do with or without. just wondering before i order.

Get the sunroof!
I insisted on one when looking for my HHR and other then when it rains, it is ALWAYS open. NO leaks, nada.

I did have to have it replaced once under warranty due to a hinge breaking, but no problems since. I've had my baby since Sept. of 07, just hit 25K last week, LOVE having the sunroof.

The only drawback to the sunroof is a little less headroom for the rear passengers.
Sun and fun verses headroom - Sun wins out.
Go for the Sunroof!!!
I have wished mine had one every sunny day that I have owned it.
Big regret not getting one with a sunroof.

Didn't care if I bought one with a sunroof or not. never had one before...

Now that I do, I wouldn't have it any other way.
The damn thing is open every day, even in the cold weather

I Love It

We've had a sunroof/moonroof in most all of our vehicles and have never had a leakage problem due to it.

Love mine and never a problem. Do checkout the headroom loss - think it affects driver/passenger as well. However, if headroom is a problem, then you probably won't want an HHR to begin with as it's too difficult for very tall people to see traffic lights without straining your neck.

I lost too much headroom with it ( I'm 6' ), so I just fabbed brackets for new seats. It was a good excuse to get better seats.

In the past I've had cars that had a sunroof.I never used it much. The drumming noise of the air was distracting and being tall (6'2'') I disliked the reduced head room. When the sunroof quit working on my Audi I didn't miss it at all.
