love my sunroof. The only downside of mine is i think it is the cause of my headilner rattle which i need to take it in for.

I am 6'2" and my head doesn't touch the headliner at all with the sunroof in. I do sit all the way down, all the way back, and leaned back a bit (not gangsta style, just comfy for me). But even when I have people in the back and have to sit more upright and forward, my head is still fine. I don't see how anyone my height or shorter has a problem with it.

You will love the sunroof! Makes the ride more fun. Just remember to crack the back windows about 1/4 " as that will reduce the wind sound. I put a plastic wind buffering shield on my HHR and that helps as well. I have a picture of my wind deflector if you want to check it out.

I have had three sun roof cars and would not pass it up in any new car I buy.

I love it.

The only cause to not get it is the head room but if it is an issue then your leg may too long to fit in the HHR anyway.

You live in Tampa, be ready to have your head cooked. I have one car with a sun roof and I need to wear a hat while driving with the sun roof closed or opened. I'll crack it and it does ventilate the car real well.

My last car had a great sunroof which I rarely opened. Use AC

I love having a sunroof. Not only do I like to drive around with it open but I also like being able to open the sunshade and have some extra light come into the cabin.

I haven't had any leak issues but I did have the arm that attaches the windscreen break and hence the frame needed to be replaced. I also had a squeak develop as the sunroof was opening but that was fixed with a little grease.
