Our HHR delivered

We just picked up our HHR at 12:00 noon today. We are really happy with our choice. We had to special order, we could not find our combination available anywhere.

2008 LT Sandstone Metallic, Cashmere Leather, 2.2L, Automatic, Sunroof, and Running Boards. msrp $20,980.

I was pleased with the delivery time. It was pretty quick. We ordered the HHR over the phone on Tuesday October 9th and the dealer said they placed the order Wednesday October 10th and we took delivery today 11/07/07. It came via rail to New Boston, MI.

Bob

PS: Pat is really happy she has her “bowtie” back. Her GMC YukonXL was a substitute
for a Chevrolet Suburban back in 2001. The GMC dealer gave us a better trade in value on her 1996 Chevy Tahoe.

For those who are in the new market can you post final sales price minus taxes? This will give them an idea of what kind of discounts people are getting. Edmunds has whole threads devoted to every car where people post how much they ended up paying as well.

Graduations. 2.2 w/ auto and leather. That is what I want, but understand that you now must get the 2.4 w/ if you want an automatic. Guess you got it before the change was made or my info was wrong. Remember when you joined and said you felt the 2.2 was peppy. I have about 3 months to go before I will get one and then I will be happy as a flea on a dog in July.

Hi HillsdaleHHR,
Thank you for the party.

Hi Kingfrog,
$17,194.98 + tax msrp $20,980.00

Hi an08HHR,
I Just went to the www.chevrolet.com Build and Price shopping tools and resubmitted my preferences and it allowed me to order the 2.2L with the automatic. Now when I did select the automatic trans it did automaticly check the 2.4L and I just went back and rechecked the 2.2L standard engine and it let me Build and Price the 2.2L with the automatic just like I ordered.

Hi Jim,
Pics to follow, to cold outside to go out and take a picture. 36 degrees right now.

Hi jx3,
Thank you, for the Congratulations!

Thanks everyone for your replies.
Bob

Bob&Pat: yes I did use the build and price and noticed the same thing. I'll find out for sure from the dealer come late Jan or Feb. Mid 30's here also but took a picture of my son and his new ride when he got home from school today, we got him a 08 Cobalt yesterday.( He is to pay us back some of it). Don't trust used cars anymore (could of come from floods and never got into the carfax system), too expensive to fix, for a few thousand more you have a new one that has bumper to bumper coverage for at least 3 yrs.
