Outlet Cover?

Hey everyone I've got a quick question. My HHR came with the ashtray and the cigarette lighter. I'm not a smoker so the ashtray makes a great coin holder and I have no use for the cigarette lighter so I'd like to take it out of my car. I was wondering if anyone was been able to find an alternative cover to the front outlet though? I don't really want it sitting there without the cigarette lighter in it just uncovered. Thanks in advance.

My wifes MPV came with a dummy plug that fits in there.

Check at an auto parts store, walmart in the auto dept for multi outlet add-ons and they may have a cover you can use. For more money go to a gm dealer and I'm sure you could get that cover there. Or do as wingfeather suggest, perhaps he would give a site for that.

How about leaving the "female" portion of the light in and just using a rubber/plastic cap to close/cover it. Much like the one used in the back seat of the HHR or in many other GM vehicles that have an Accessory Plug located in the kick panels.

Sould be minimal in cost....a dollar or 2 probably.

I've seen "No Smoking" covers that plug the bare hole... can't remember which auto parts store had 'em. Usually they're in the "Help!" or trinket sections. Here is a pricey one I found on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...QQcmdZViewItem

Another: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CIGAR...em370018171115

And, if you haven't had enough of my more silly options, here are more:

12V oven: http://www.survivalstore.com/r3s2lbb1.html
12V frying pan: http://www.preparedness.com/noname94.html
