Snagged this from another thread on the forum.

"looking at the front of the car, behind the left or passenger front headlight on the wall behind it you will see a plug and a small attachment plugged on it and that is it."

When I was doing my fog light install, I remember seeing it behind the passenger side inner fender well. I've seen where people have changed the headlight bulbs without removing the wheels, but I'm not certain if you would be able to get to the sensor without taking off the wheel. It sure would make it easier though....Regards

How about a pic to help. The line from the number 2 is pointing to the sensor.

One thing I have discovered is that for me the temp shown on the DIC is about 2 degress celcius higher than the actual outside temp in the winter (based on what the DJs on the radio say anyway).

I'm convinced mine is possessed.....Sometimes it's right on with my mirror temperature reading (aftermarket rearview), other times it's a couple of degrees off and other times it seems like it's stuck on the same temperature for a couple of days...I've cleaned the connection once and it seemed to be more consistent, and the sensor replaced once and still get weird readings.....Que Sera, Sera

So how long do you think it took the Chevy engineers to decide to put it there? I guess after every front-end crash, you'll need to get it repaired. I believe on my minivan its on the windshield right near the mirror. No, it's not always exact but neither are the signs at the local banks!
