P062f
I've had my HHR for about 3 years now And I've got 230654 miles on her. And now I'm getting this mysterious P062F code. I have replaced the ECM I've yet to replace the PCM and I'm still having this issue. I'm looking for the ECM wiring diagram or a wiring diagram for the entire vehicle because I need to start checking everything. It shifts hard so I'm guessing it's the PCM but still but so far nothing seems to be wrong with the vehicle. It's pushing 33 mi to the gallon and I only have to fill her up every 2 weeks. Driving 15 mi to work in 15 mi back daily so that brings in question. What's going on with my car? Is anybody run into this issue before?
If so, any help?
I should state I am not a mechanic. I'm an auto body tech so I can make the car look as pretty as I can. I can't make it run so you guys might have to dumb it down for me

Hi Ren, to the forums!
2 things I see in your pic. First, that code is 1/5, meaning there are 4 more codes to consider, some may be duplicates. Second, this one is a stored code, meaning it's not a current code.

Welcome Ren, I wanted to ask several questions about your HHR,
1: why replace the ECM?
2: why replace the PCM?
3: what other codes if any were present?
4: was the HHR an accident rebuild? Or theft recovery?

Has anyone done that stupid facebook "ground wire on the TCM" thing?
Have you checked fuses.
Have you checked wires and connections?
Have you checked grounds?

No my HHR was never in an accident. Not a theft. Not a rebuild. The P062F is actually an error code for the ECM saying that it has found a fault in itself. It's actually a duplicate. All the rest of the codes inside this thing are all duplicates at the same one. Some are stored. Some are not stored so I know it's current.

We've checked fuses. Yeah we did the stupid ground wire on the TCM. I'm actually looking at it right now. And yeah right now I'm checking wire bundles to see for freight or Nick wires

Look at the relays and fuses,
Causes for this P062F DTC code may include: Defective controller or programming error Overheated PCM Water damage A bad controller power relay or blown fuse Open or shorted circuit or connectors in the CAN harness Insufficient control module ground Faulty EEPROM
