Package shelf

I noticed that you could take the panel that fits above the spare tire/battery compartment and mount it up higher, about even with the top of the seats so you can conceal cargo in the wayback. Are these designed to use a second shelf for the seatback level and one for the floor over the spare tire? I took the shelf on the floor out and mounted it to the level of the seatbacks and the floor was bumpy and not very usable or practical. Are there just the two locations that the package shelf can be mounted? How much could I get a second package shelf for? I found some for a little over $100 on ebay. Does that sounds reasonable or can I get one for a lower price? Mounting a shelf up high and leaving the one on the floor sounds like a good system when traveling out of town with stuff like toolboxes in the cargo area. My main question is where can you store the second package shelf when it is not needed.

I pick up a second shelf from my local salvage yard. I think it was about 25.00. When I'm not using the shelf I store it in the garage.

I'll check out the local junkyards. I'll probably keep it in place 95% of the time and when I don't use it, I'll put it in my apartment.

I run double load floors in all of mine, e-bay is another good place to look, I scored the last one still in its GM wrapper for $35 including shipping.

I found my second shelly at a local salvage yard for about $50.00. It was even the correct color. I have the cargo area carpet which would have hidden any other color.
