2006 HHR Conversion to Panel (56k WARNING ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK)

I know you say this is a true panel (your HHR Panel) and your the first to compete such a conversion. But I found one on e-bay today (9/27/07) that was a HHR at one point in it's life but now a panel. So does this conversion still count if it was done the other way around? Take a look at the pictures yourself.

This car was on ebay a long time ago, maybe it didn't sell then. It appears unfinished inside as far as the side panels go. Now that the real panels are out it could be finished nicley.

Yeah, and it appears to be the same pictures, I believe. You can still see what appears to be the difference in paint color on the driver rear door.

Thank you for doing all the R&D work for this mod. I'll more than likely be following suit when I finally get my Panel.
Looks awesome!

Great Mod! But for me I wouldn't be able to ride in the back....I need ventilation and scenery, because I'm prone to motion sickness Which is why I'm the one that usually drives.

Not sure on the brand without looking at the receipts, I think the tracks are from one company and the risers from Thule.

So I'm assuming that those risers bolt through the roof line? How easy was that to install? Did you do it yourself?

I just realized another redundancy with the panel.. They still had side curtain airbags in the back!!
It's an opition, dumb option, but not standard equipment. Mine doesn't have them. The white one they had at the dealership where I bought mine did though.

I agree with Grumpee. It's just too dark and enclosed without back door windows.
I like the quarter panel delete better than the current 4 door.

I had the sports-rack shop do it. they have the right fasteners, tools, sealants etc, and warranty against leaks.
