PARASITIC BATTERY DRAW, difficult to start
Hello, guys, my HHR 2006 2.4 has a problem with the battery draw the power no to 0% but a few to avoid start normally, is like not hold the charge, when I finish my job about 3:30 pm, put the key and try to start the car and I hear a noise like "Sha, sha, sha" when try start in the front of the car and not enough power for start, if I open and close ignition key today I tested the battery looking if any parasitic power keep discharge the battery, I follow the step according to with this video youtube,
, I use the voltmeter and the value show to me was about 2.25 amps, is over 0.5 amps, so what fuse will have the short-circuit, any idea, somebody has similar issues before?, here I show the battery test by professional equipment in part source.

Ok, so we've been talking about your thermostat and burping the cooling system for the past 30 days or so, with no mention of this battery voltage problem. If this is new, look at areas where you just did some work(around the thermostat).
You might not have a parasitic drain, it may be the RAP working properly. Your charging system might not be working properly. Whoever tested the battery should be able to test the charging system also, or else go to an auto parts store.

Parts Source, is our version of AZ up here .
yes your battery is low on voltage and CCA
it is possible the alternator is not up to running all the computers and electrical systems, and trying to recharge the battery.
Running your voltage should be 14.4 to 15.5 volts

How old is the battery?
Did you take the battery out for testing at a parts store? Their tests can provide useful information but you need to know a
exactly what they did, and whether they charged it before testing, and I never trust their conclusions, based on experience.
As far as I can the the HHR only charges the battery to about 12.6V, which I think is to maximize battery life. My 2011 does this, and I removed the original battery late last year, 10 years old, still working fine it turns out, to eliminate it as cause of other problems.

Yes I had a short circuit I research and I discover with voltimetre so at the end I replace the battery plus eliminate the shorcircuit in cable , the cable make shorcircuit was the cable from the battery to the alternator, was touching the metal and separate with a garden hose , plus the bounch of the cable close to the thermostate was bend under 90 degree so in that way I remove the tape and put it back a tape. so at the end working fine, thanks for your support all the time oldblue.

yes I test and the small report show good health but wasn't ok for start the vehicle, so at the end replace and remove a short circuit in the cable form battery to the alternator.thanks for you help.
