Note that the 5 speed is standard on the 2LT. As well as the 2.4 being standard on the 2LT.
No mention of the combo being not available.

It was nice years ago when about all were manuals when I started driving. I read someplace that people that drive manuals (or can) are better drivers because it requires more concentration to use the clutch and gas and steer. We just do it without thinking and drivers of automatics just aim and go. Maybe the roads would be safer to drive on if we did away with automatics (they are nice in city traffic, I have to admit).

So are they saying that the automatic is now standard and it won't come at an additional cost? Or that the automatic is optional, but the only available option and you still have to pay extra for it?

The auto is an additional $1000.
