Lightbulb

I am installing the PIAA Xtreme headlights and foglights this Friday. I will post how they look once I drive at night. As far as their longevity, I checked other forms and they seem to last a year to a year and a half...expensive to replace every year, BUT if they let me see more/better in front, then they are worth it. Especially since I drive a lot on Maryland back roads.

In case you want more info on the lights: (From the PIAA web site)

PIAA s Xtreme White PLUS H13 bulb with a Kelvin rating of 4000K, providing an intense white light with superior performance.

Dual-filament bulb

H13 is designed to comply with all DOT, ECE and NAFTA regulations World wide application and use.

Engineered for sustained performance in applications where a high level of vibration and moisture protection is required.

H13 Twin Pack part #: 19618

The factory fog light replacement takes the H11 bulb:

PIAA’s Xtreme White Plus H-11 with a Kelvin rating of 4000K provides an intense white light.

H11 Twin Pack part #: 15211

Angry Important piaa h11 update

THE H11, although PIAA advertises they will fit into the HHR fog lights...DO NOT, I repeat, THE PIAA H11 bulbs DO NOT fit in the standard factory 2LT fog lights.

The H13s fit fine in the headlights and produce a nice white light.

Submitted this 18 day of December, in the 2009 year of our Lord.

That is all. Over and out.
