It does look good, but I could never go w/o my rear wiper.

As long as it's done right, you'll never have a problem!

BTW everyone, try going without it, it's really not bad and we had plenty of snow here last winter to test it on. Rain too! Had my HHR for over a year now and have never even turned mine on, not sure I even know how.

No, not yet, but I've filled holes on plenty of other cars over the years. I'm waiting on a new light/logo bar I bought off ebay......gonna shave the bowtie, and paint. Then we'll fill the wiper hole and paint at the same time. Oh yeah, got my grill coming too!

I believe TopWop's point was that using filler constitutes "not done right." I agree. Holes are to be welded, minimal low spots and dents are to be filled. No legitimate auto body professional would EVER use filler to plug the wiper hole... DIY'ers? Sure, they do it all the time. And they are often discussed in forums just like this, on threads that have the general theme of "that @#$@#$ PO did a crappy job on such and such and now I've got to fix it AND the rust caused by the water his fix allowed to pool at the bottom..."

Been THERE. Done THAT.

I guess I am one of the last of the regular modders to finally delete their rear wiper. I am alway one for being practical, which is why I found it hard to remove. But, then I realized a few things. First, in the nearly 3 years that I have owned my car, I dont think that I have used it 5 times. And none of those times did I really need to use it. Since the window is nearly vertical, the rain and snow do not stick to it. Second, it really does detract from the looks of the car. It destroys an otherwise clean back door. (I also removed my factory spoiler for the same reason.) And finally, it made washer and drying the car a bit more of a hassle. (Again, this is why I removed my factory luggage racks which I never used nor ever planned on using.)

I temporarily covered the holes with some cheesy decals until I can get the car into the body shop to have them, as well as 13 other holes patched up.

Just Found Out How to Post Gallery Photo! The Squirter and Wiper were Removed, Holes were Welded, Ground Smooth, a "Little" Filler and Spot Painted and Cleared! All with Window Still in Place! Say No to Plugs!

What are the other 13 holes? Were you in a drive-by shooting? Or did you shave other things? Or??
