It is cool, but it is not really an HHR-it has leaf springs in the back and sits on a chassis. It is a hot rod that has an HHR body on it (just like the monster trucks).

It does look similar to the V8 HHRs from the buildoff, and I predict there will be more to come.
Wish there was a good shot of the exhaust though, Id like to see that.
It took me a while to figure out pic #13 was looking up at the firewall and through the tranny tunnel.

I Almost Wish Chevy Made ' Em That Way. At Least The Rear Wheel Drive, Then They Would Have Stronger Trannies In Them.

Please dont get me wrong on my comment. It is a beautiful job and took a tremondous amount of work to accomplish. But----it is not really a modified HHR. Unless you consider a Winston Cup stock car to be like whatever model it is advertised to be.

Talking Holy craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!

That's like the "holy grail" of HHR's. I'd love to have that on the local drag strip...a total "sleeper" Well done gearheads.

that is killer dudes, i think year one or someone needs to develop a kit for the swap. I know its in our plans now and the HHR is soon to be parked for a while to get the swap done.
