That makes me feel alot better!! It will be interesting to see if there is the same amout of play when I lift the other side.

What does drive me nuts is the terrible sound I hear - meaning noisy tires at almost all speeds. It began with my winter tires and then I changed to these new ones 17" allegator style. It's just a pain to listen to. Maybe it's just the tires. My original Firestones were extremely quiet.

Have you replaced your cv axle? When you go straigth and suddenly you move your steering wheel, there´s a vibration or noise?
