Plywood in the cargo area

Does anyone know if a sheet of plywood will fit in the back of the hhr?

Tilted sideways and the gate open. Gate open is very dangerous.

No, it does not fit. The diagonal measurement of the cargo area opening at the hatch is 44". A full sheet of plywood is 48" x 96".

RJ is correct, it won’t fit a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood or drywall

Really, it's not even close.
Ask me how I know.
BUT, it did fit on the roof rack.

Too much weight on the roof rack! Can be a problem. Plus the antenna gets in the way.
