Beautiful blue HHR. They kill the output then how about running with your high beams?

banshee was having a hard time seeing at nite with the depo's we stuffed a hid kit in there, can see clearly now.

Boydie, thanks, the cling ons cut about 50% light transmission.

If you want some sweet lights, you have to do some work.

Love my Depos! At an angle and straight on you only see so much of the reflectors since it is a long matte black tunnel going back to the bulb. I usually run with the "marker lights" aka turn signal lights on the front, side marker lights and tail-lights and I have the Depos on front and bermuda black led tail lights from Race and Street on the back. I get people looking at it all the time from those two things alone, and some even come up and ask if what I have is legal! The answer is yes! And not a drop of tint on either of them!

Thanks all you guys.

I ran high beams a LOT with the tinted film and no one flashed me.
Output was half as bright.

I now run DEPOs and get flashed while on low beam :-)

Nothing on the headlights but I ran with a license plate cover that was slightly smoked for 4 1/2 years with no problem (IN NYS that's a ticket) until last summer when I got popped for speeding. For the first time (probably ever) I was NOT trying to speed and got nailed. He somewhat believed me and wrote me a ticket for having a partially covered plate instead of 69 in a 55. Think it cost me $180 (1/2 was the surcharge to NYS) but no points. My point is having the smoked headlights alone probably won't garner enough attention to be ticketed but if you get caught for something else, it may come into play. BTW, all the replies with pictures look awesome. I may swap out mine for something different.
