OK, my 3 week old SS has suffered 2 shopping cart collisions. One of them was sickening. So I researched this and that. Talked to the local bodyshop guy and found the "as seen on TV" thing.

Yeah... right. OK $20 I'll bite.

I wish I had before and after pictures. I didn't think it would work so I didn't take a shot of the major dent. But I'll be dog gonned... I was able to get the dents out pretty good and if I knew how to use this stuff better, it may have turned out perfect. Still a little wrinkley, but nothing like the giant crease in the front fender I started with.

I don't work for these people or have any reason to advertise, just amazed it worked as well as it did. I'm not sick to my stomach any more about my new car I haven't made the first payment on. So... got a dent? risk $20 at Autozone and try it.

Yay! Always happy to hear good news like this. I, too, suffered the dreaded first ding ... I had only had mine 3 days when a b*tch in a white Saturn Vue who obviously was never taught how to park, angeled her car into the space next to me and dinged my passenger door. That little cheap-o solution resolved that ding to about 95%, enough to satisfy me that no one else but me would see it.

Exactly. Did you really think it would work as well as it did but say... @#$@%@% $20, how much worse could it get?

or something like that.

I went to Pep Boys a while back and bought some very thin side molding. Installed it on both sides from the back door to front. Looks good and stylish.

Something to consider. I posted a photo of it here somewhere. Here it is

Well I gotta tell this one. Wife drives an Acura. In the garage right near the work bench. So when I'd take a step back to relax and look at my next move on whatever project I had going, I'd lean against the front fender. (when she wasn't around.

Well one day she came home really Pi$$$$$$$$$$ed to the max. Someone had dented her car, presumably at work. She showed it to me and I kind of went pale but let it pass as it was a perfect indentation of my a$$!.

I told her that it didn't look like it was hit but that it was a weak spot (which it was) and someone may have pushed against it. Didn't help her mood any.

I sucked most of it out with a plunger but I've always felt guilty over it.

I know a guy who does it professionally. He told me if I ever had any dents he would take them out for free. He does amazing work!
