Problem with my 2010 HHR LT 2.2

Don’t drive. Don’t even start it. The P0016, P0017 indicate a timing chain problem. It could be on the verge of failure which would do major engine damage.
The running bad and stalling is most likely from the timing chain having jumped a tooth out of time.
How many miles are on this car ?

The P0106 can be a code tripped by the timing chain issue. It’s a fairly easy job to change the chain

I guess if the intake valves don't open when they are supposed to the air flow through the throttle body could be affected. But, the test is probably failing because the Crankshaft sensor was not relearned.

P0016/17 means imminent danger of crashing the valves, if it hasn’t already happened. Don’t even let anyone crank it. We had a member who knew enough to have it towed. She said turned her back and the tow truck driver tried to start it. That was enough to jump another tooth or two, apparently. Bent valves.
Make sure the mechanic understands the problem and agrees not to crank it until it’s safe to do so.
Worry about the other codes after the chain problem is fixed.
