Hi folks, I can't log into the problem section, just thru the forum jump thing. I read in the manual, that the remote starter would flash the turn signals and the aprking lights would stay on. The turn lights flash when I hit lock, and when it starts, but the parking lights DO NOT stay on. No lights stay on, what do I do? Does it need a reflash? Or is ther just a mistake in the book? Thanks ...Bill

 

Sometimes mine stay on, sometimes they don't. I think it depends on the light conditions. Overcast, shade, or night = on / in the sun = off.

 

I brought mine in for that very same thing and the dealer showed me a TSB that said they were aware of the problem and working on a solution... that was awhile ago... no solution yet that I know of.

On mine if I remote start then unlock the doors the parking lights come on and stay on otherwise they don't stay on.. day or night doesn't seem to matter on mine.

 

I still have trouble with mine setting off the alarm about half the time when I start it. I have been very careful that I am not holding the button down too long so that is not it. And it does it with both remotes so I don't think it is batteries. It's pretty embarassing when you are trying to look all cool with your remote start and end up setting off your alarm.
