Just checked Texas and this is what I pulled of the website:
You must pay $40 for each set of personalized plates. If you personalize a specialty license plate, you must pay the specialty plate fee. You may also have to pay a prorated portion of your vehicle registration fee, depending on the month of registration. Call (512) 465-7611 for more information.

Love the color! we ordered our Red LT(5 spd, 2.4) last November(born on the 8th of January and delivered on Feb 2nd!). Wife and I argued over the color when we ordered the car; we both liked the Teal, but at the time, it wasn't available, and would have put off the order by more than a month, they said. So, we settled for the Sport Red, which is nice, nonetheless, but now that I see the Teal, arghhh! Sweet!
