BTW, one thing you wanna make sure you check asap is the fuses. The ones under the hood especially tend to be a tad loose. Just give them a firm push and you'll be set.

While I guess the running boards now, would be considered a mod, us here in the midwest take a beating from all the de-icing products every winter. The way the HHR is designed, the rear quarter gets hit hard.
