Has anyone purchased an '08 with roof racks? I recently went to the dealer and found two new HHRs with the rear window delete option. I want to go back and test drive one to see how this option affects your ability to see traffic. I also found that they both had black roof racks. In the picture below, it looks like this vehicle has the chrome package but not on the roof racks. Chevy's website shows HHRs with chrome on the end and black on the rails. What will the chrome package get you?

 

Just got my 08 today,loaded 2LT w/roof rack, yes they are chrome only on the ends and black in the long center section. I have the rr windows.

 

Mine too. Love the look with the chrome ends... there are genuine GM nike racks that have the same look and attach to the cross rails. Saving up my change for that...

 

I believe that's an LS. The door handles and beauty bar look painted to me. Also, there is no exhaust tip.

 

I think the 1LT's are black & the 2LT's come with the chrome.
